Greater Austin

Austin–Round Rock is a five-county metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Texas, as defined by the Office of Management and Budget.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Revised Delineations of Metropolitan Statistical Areas, Micropolitan Statistical Areas, and Combined Statistical Areas, and Guidance on Uses of the Delineations of These Areas )〕 Commonly referred to as Greater Austin, the metropolitan area is situated in Central Texas on the eastern edge of the , and borders San Antonio–New Braunfels to the south.
Austin–Round Rock is the 35th largest metropolitan area in the United States, with a population of almost 2 million people and 16th largest GDP per Capita as of the 2014 U.S. census estimate. The metropolitan area is centered on the City of Austin—the fourth-largest city in Texas and the 11th-largest city in America with a population of 912,791 people. Austin's largest suburbs are Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown and San Marcos.
