Austin–Round Rock is the 35th largest metropolitan area in the United States, with a population of almost 2 million people and 16th largest GDP per Capita as of the 2014 U.S. census estimate. The metropolitan area is centered on the City of Austin—the fourth-largest city in Texas and the 11th-largest city in America with a population of 912,791 people.
